Support from generous individuals and foundations help cover more than half the cost for each student, making it possible for Summer Stages to offer competitive tuition to students and professionals participating in our program. Tuition includes four classes daily, participation in the creation of new work, and public performance opportunities, as well as entrance into select Summer Stages performances.

Workshop
Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Tuition Assistance
A limited number of Tuition Assistance awards are given to qualified Workshop participants. Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis; students seeking tuition assistance are encouraged to apply early. All students seeking work study/tuition assistance must submit a work study/tuition assistance form (pdf), first page of most recent IRS 1040 or 1040A, and a written statement describing why financial aid is necessary, what additional funding sources applicant may draw from, relevant work and experience/skills. Upon acceptance into the program, applicants can arrange for cooperative tuition assistance. Summer Stages Dance will match grants from applicants' secondary schools, dance studios, or college/university dance departments.

Academic Credit
College credit has been awarded to participants who successfully complete the Workshop. Eligible students must receive prior credit approval from the college registrar and their department head and are responsible for paying per-credit fees to the institution.

Choreographers’ Project Fellowship
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Contemporary Dance Intensive: The Apprenticeship Program
Applicants must be between the ages of 12 and 16.

Summer Stages 2: The Young Dancers’ Program
Applicants must be between the ages of 12 and 16.
Applications Due: June 4, 2012

Late Fee (nonrefundable, required for applications submitted after June 4):

Internships
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Applications Due: April 2, 2011!

Checks should be made payable to: Concord Academy—Summer Stages Dance.

Cancellation and Refunds
If written notice of cancellation is received on or before June 4, tuition will be fully refunded; if received by June 13, 50% will be refunded; if received by June 18, 25% will be refunded. No refunds will be considered after June 25 without medical documentation. Application Fees are nonrefundable. Refund checks will be issued after September 24, 2012.

Curriculum details and faculty are subject to change.

Early application to all programs is encouraged as space is limited. Admission decisions will be made after prompt review of completed applications.
