SUMMER STAGES DANCE RELIES ON YOUR SUPPORT
We could not have achieved the striking growth of Summer Stages over the past year, without you!
With your support, we expanded our programming, increased tuition assistance to young dancers by 50%, grew our audience by 10%, and initiated exciting new partnerships with leading arts organizations, including the ICA/Boston, Boston Ballet, and the Baryshnikov Arts Center—all to galvanize Boston’s dance community and strengthen the state’s cultural vitality.
Summer Stages is one of the only dance institutions locally and nationally that emphasizes mentorship of young artists and the creation of new work in an inter-generational setting. It is this distinctive reputation that led the prestigious Surdna Foundation to generously support Summer Stages’ long range planning. As we embark on our second decade and plan for our future, we need your help more than ever, to continue providing the highest quality dance programs and performances.
